Deepak's Story
Deepak Thomas is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years building and selling software, semiconductor and AI products. As the Founder and CEO of SVAYO, he launched a groundbreaking Generative AI-powered platform for hyper-personalised beauty and grooming. Under his leadership, SVAYO was recognised among the top 8 Generative AI startups in India, successfully gaining 125+ salon partners and 4K monthly active users in its beta phase in Bangalore.
Previously, as CMO and angel investor at TinyChef, Deepak built global marketing strategies and secured significant B2B partnerships for its conversational AI food-tech platform. At Qualcomm India, he built from scratch a substantial business pipeline in IoT and automotive segments, expanding partnerships, managing national distributors and driving revenue growth. At Qualcomm India, he also played an important role in curating and enabling startups through its maiden startup incubation programme. Deepak’s career began in software engineering, developing impactful automotive Bluetooth products and 2G-3G mobile platforms.
Holding a B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and an Executive General Management Programme from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Deepak combines technical expertise with strategic vision. His passion for innovation and technology-driven solutions makes him an inspiring leader eager to connect and drive transformative change in the industry.
